  1. First Look

I’ve talked about how much I love a first look before, but I’ll say it here again. A first look gives you a chance to have a little alone time before your ceremony. Those moments he first sees you are so special and when it’s just the 2 of you it’s incredibly intimate. A first look won’t kill him seeing you walk down the aisle, to me these are 2 completely different kinds of special.

  2. Sweetheart table

A sweetheart table allows you a moment to eat together and by close to one another. Everyone else will be eating their meal-and yeah you will have the occasional guest come up to your table, but this time is mostly private.

  3. Sunset portraits

Yes, you will have regular portraits taken early in the day, but there’s just something about sunset portraits that has my heart. Everyone else is enjoying your event and you sneak out just the 2 of you for about 10 minutes. Ahhh I love it. Another tip is before walking back into your reception, stand back for a few seconds and take in all your loved ones together. It’s like a little pause in such a fleeting day.

  4. Last Dance

I absolutely love when a couple does a “last dance”. What’s a last dance? It’s when your guests exit your recpetion space to get ready for your exit and you two stay back and have one final slow dance. It’s such an intimate way to end your wedding day. I might even like it better than a first dance-hah. It’s one of my favorite things a bride and groom can do.

Warmly,

Michelle
