This past year…can I be honest and say I feel like it’s an accomplishment to have made it here? My pregnancies rivaled the gestation period of an elephant. Hah. So my new body alone has been something to get used to. All hail Spanx. The real MVP! Running 2 businesses, a household (shoutout to Chris for being a stellar dad and husband) and taking care of 2 babies is the best kind of wonderful, but y’all it’s hard and at times this past year I didn’t know if I could do it all and still be my usually happy self. So as I sit here and write this, I am high-fiving myself for making it here. 2 happy and healthy toddlers, 2 businesses that help support our family, a home I love, and a loving and wonderful husband. I can sit here and write this and see all the wonderful in my life. It’s been tough to get here though. It’s been a journey. Of course, I don’t have it all figured out and with every season that comes I will need to learn and grow and adapt to the changes again. But I’m giving myself a big hug for making through the past year. These 2 littles have brought me more joy than I have ever known. The rough days are completely wiped out by a giggle from Caleb or a hug and kiss from Ms. Caroline. I never thought I’d have babies so close together, but I am so glad they will grow up the same way together. Grateful doesn’t even scratch the surface.
