Welcome to Lifestyle Tuesday’s friends! I’m kicking off this new blog series talking about the haircare line from Kristin Ess. I have fallen in love with these hair products over the last 8-9 months. Never before have I found one brand with so many products that work (and work GREAT) for my hair. I have slowly tried almost every item in the lineup and am sharing my favorites! These products have affordable price points and are found at Target and Target.com

1. Air dry crème

   Typically a summer product for me, this is great for days when you don’t blow dry your hair. This saves it from looking all crazy and wild.

2. Working texture spray

I’m so glad I tried this! I use it all the time! You can use it all over by lifting large sections and spraying throughout to create that textured, voluminous look or in smaller areas for sturdy hold or a more defined look. It's also great for beach waves, second day hair, texturized ponytails, and braiding -- basically any time you need a little textured volume.

3. Dry conditioner

Not to be confused with dry shampoo, this product is wonderful for reviving style. Like say your headed to girl’s night after work, this is great to give your hair a little refresh and bounce back.

4. Signature shampoo

This is my everyday shampoo. It’s not too heavy, smells great, and is gentle on my colored hair. This was the first product I tried from KE!

5. Hair clips

These are only $6 are a really pretty rose gold and work really well for sectioning off pieces when styling.

6. Reconstructive hydrating hair mask

My #1 KE product! This stuff is amazing! Really really and truly nourishes my hair. I leave it in for about 20-30 minutes every other week and it’s like I have brand new hair. Seriously. If you only try one KE item, let it be this one.

7. Blow dry mist

Such a great heat protectant! Not too heavy and cuts down drying time. Win!

8. Thickening spray

Ok! This stuff actually works! My hair is fuller and bigger when I use this. If you have fine hair and looking for a lil’ somethin’ to add volume all over, this is it.

9. Signature conditioner

The best friend of the Signature Shampoo and my daily conditioner. This conditioner leaves my hair so soft and smooth every time. LOVE.

10. Beach wave spray

Another summer product for those hot beach and pool days where the last thing you want to do is blow dry your hair.

11. Recovery balm

So many uses for this product and has daytime and nighttime ways to use too! It’s castor and coconut oil base so it’s super moisturizing.

Mama Monday’s- 14 things that help my mama brain stay organized.

Hooray! New blog content starts today! I started Mama Monday’s last year and I’m reviving it in 2020. Every Monday I’ll be here sharing mama things!

Today I’m kicking it off with 14 organizational things that I love as a mom. I love that I’m a new mom in this age of technology and so many helpful things out there. Here are a few that have made my life so much easier and a few that are just plain genius.

1. Shipt

   Shipt! Grocery delivery! Life saving! Not sure what my life would look without it…definitely more stressful!

2. Keepy

I love this app! It saves photos of art work and other mementos of your kids, but better yet organizes the and backs them up. It’s like a camera roll just for your kids special projects. You can also order prints and gifts.

3. Simplified planner

I’ve used Simplified for planners

for 5 years now. I love the layout and their partnership with At-A-Glance offers a planner for $17!

4. Facebook mom groups

This one might seem a little strange, but I love my FB mom groups! I obviously have real life friends and believe that most medical advice should obviously be saved for your doctor, but it’s so nice to have a large group of moms in similar seasons there for questions, advice, or just to vent.

5. Amazon prime & Amazon dash buttons

We all know and love Amazon Prime so that didn’t really need it’s own category. Amazon dash buttons however- do! When we are out of something all I need to do is hit the dash button. No logging in on my phone, just literally push the button for the item. Genius!

6. La la lunchbox

Such a neat little app to get kids involved in the lunch packing process!

7. Chatbooks

Chatbooks is such an easy and inexpensive way to create photo books. It’s linked with Instagram and you can just choose which IG photos from your feed to include.

8. Google docs

I use Google Docs all the time for work, but also for mom life too!

I use them for budgets, shopping lists, and important info of the kids. They are so easy to share and edit with Chris too.

9. Trello

This program is similar to Google Docs for me, but I well, it’s prettier-haha. I use Trello for all sorts of lists like wish lists for furniture, kids gift ideas, seasonal bucket list ideas, and so much more. Lists are shareable with multiple people too!

10. Home chef

Game-changer for us! Especially the oven ready meals! They are so easy to make and so delicious! Just takes what we’re having for dinner off of my shoulders.

11. Care zone

This is an app that organizes prescriptions, auto ships, and streamlines insurance processes. It’s basically a hub for all things medical related and it rocks.

12. Tiny scanner

This app turns your phone into a scanner! Save receipts and other documents as PDFs and securely send and save them.

13. Raise

A friend told me about Raise about 6 months ago and I literally don’t shop without it! It offers percentages off of store gift cards and has saved me a bunch of money!

14. Tile Mate

Tile helps you locate everyday essentials during your daily routine. No more looking for your keys or phone. Life saver!
