ONE SWEET FRIDAYS

Happy Friday friends! We're wrapping up another wonderful week over here and after quite a few warm days here in Richmond, I'm excited for the cooler weekend ahead!

This week was a busy one. I'm trying to get everything ready for The Floral Gathering before we leave for Ireland and finishing up client experience packages to send out in a few weeks. Such a fun part of my little business. I love showering my brides with love and sweet intentional gifts.

I'm working on a blog post of a recap of my year and it's so nuts to look back on all that One Sweet Day in May has done this year. I love this work and it brings us the greatest of joy. I'm truly excited for next year.

I saw this video of Steve Harvey this week and  I thought I would share it with you for a little One Sweet Friday's note of encouragement. Keep going and remember why you started sweet friends. Celebrate even the littlest of victories and hold your head up through the rough patches and do what Steve says and jump.

Have a wonderful weekend sweet friends! I'm getting ready for a girly and sparkly editorial with Lovely Bubbly Events and Chris and I have dinner plans with some friends we haven't seen in a while and we have tickets to see Home Alone in the movie theater on Sunday evening! SO excited!

See you back here next week!

Love,

Michelle

HOLIDAY MINI SESSIONS, 3 REASONS TO BOOK THEM, AND A GIVEAWAY!

Incase you missed it, a fun announcement was made earlier today! My dear friend Annmarie Swift Photography will be here in December (let's be serious, when is she not here?!) and we're teaming up for some festive fun in the form of a day of pop up styled holiday mini sessions!

Virginia Wedding Florist

Let me break down the details for you!

Date- Saturday December 12th

Time- 11am-2pm

Where- The Richmond Wedding Collective 425 Strawberry Street, Richmond Virginia

Cost- $150

What does it include- 15 minutes of shooting time, digital images (which you'll get back by December 16th incase you need a Christmas photo for family or holiday cards), and a matted 8x10 print of your choice!

What will it be like?

Think festive details like fresh christmas greens, a hot chocolate bar, and you know I'll be bringing the fresh florals! It's also BYOM (Bring your own mug) for some cozy shots if that's your thing!

Who is it for?

Honestly, anyone! Dating couples, engaged or married couples, moms-to-be, small families, or a group of girlfriends!

And for fun we're giving away a slot! Gahh! Just head over to my Instagram and look for the mini session graphic for all the details on how to enter! I promise it's easy!

And if you're wondering why you want to do a mini session, I'm giving you three reasons!

1. QUALITY TIME TOGETHER

With all the holiday madness and christmas parties almost every night, Christmas can pass us right by and you may not get any time one on one time with your significant other! Enter mini sessions! Make a day date out of it! Go out for brunch, get some holiday shopping done, have a super cute mini photo session, and then drive around town sipping that hot chocolate and end the day with some christmas light viewing. The ultimate holiday date and a chance to get that ever so coveted time together.

2. BUDGET FRIENDLY

In my opinion, I think it's important to invest in professional photos once every year or two, they give you such great memories, but let's face it, getting professional photos done is expensive and not everyone has hundreds and hundreds of dollars to spend on a photo session. That's what's so great about minis! So budget friendly and though you're not going to get dozens and dozens of photos like you would a full session-you'll get a few with different poses and angles and what's better than having festive photos that you can pull out and display every holiday season for years to come? It really is such a special way to commemorate such a fun time of the year.

3. PHOTOS MAKE GREAT GIFTS

Everyone loves to be gifted with photos especially grandparents and other family members. They are such simple gifts, but mean so much. For any of you stuck on what to get the people on your list this year, look no further!
